The Iliadis-Sparks family has been leading tours for over 30 years.  The business began in 1984 when Elizabeth Iliadou Sparks, a Greek native living in America, decided she must find a way to afford to return home to visit her family in Thessaloniki, Greece. Along with her husband David, who was to become a professor of Hellenic Studies, they began with only a few travelers, but were able to share with them their passion for the deep history and authentic culture of the Greek people. After years of perfecting their tour, they expanded their travels to Italy, Turkey, Egypt and Israel.  It is their delight to experience these lands with you in the most authentic and memorable way possible. 

Their son, Adam Sparks, spent much of his childhood on archaeological sites and in Greek villages, where he developed a deep passion for ancient history and European travel. After graduating from Columbia University he joined his parents and is now an expert guide in Classical territories. Along with his wife, Blake, he's now at the helm of the business, organizing and leading tours for schools and universities across the nation.  Together they ensure an experience that is expertly planned and thoughtfully curated.  They can guarantee an authentic travel experience not found anywhere else.
